1.Who we are

Parking Ticket Defence is operated by Maestro Projects Ltd, 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. We are the data controller for the information described here.

2.What we collect

The details you enter about your parking ticket: the notice reference, date, location, contravention, vehicle registration, the issuing council or operator, and the grounds you are appealing on. Any files you upload, such as photographs of your ticket, signage, permits or correspondence. Your email address. Basic technical data such as IP address and pages visited.

If you appeal on medical or emergency grounds, anything you choose to write there may include health information. Only share what you are comfortable including in a letter to the issuer, because that is what it is used for.

3.Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your details to draft your appeal letter, take payment, send you the letter and your receipt, and handle any revisions. The legal basis is performance of our contract with you. Where you have given health information as part of your grounds, we rely on your explicit consent, given by choosing to enter it. We use technical data to keep the site working and secure, on the basis of our legitimate interests.

4.Who we share it with

Only the suppliers needed to run the service: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting and analytics), SumUp (payments), Anthropic (letter drafting) and Resend (email). We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

5.How long we keep it

Submissions and uploaded files are kept for 12 months from purchase, so you can come back for a revision or a copy of your letter, then deleted. Payment records are kept for six years because tax law requires it. Unpaid submissions are deleted after 30 days. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.

6.Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email support@parkingticketdefence.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
